3b1 Information Page

The 3b1 (aka PC7300, aka AT&T UnixPC) is a machine developed by Convergent Technologies and sold by AT&T in various configurations. The machine runs UNIX System V 3.51m (a variant of UNIX System V, Rel 2.) For more information on the machine, have a look at the FAQ.

After owning as many as three of them at one time got rid of my last one in 2006. (At various times I've also had some other ancient AT&T computing equipment but they also went to the great /dev/null in the sky). While a 3b1 is now basically useless, seen as they were when they were originally developed, they are extremely neat. Sadly, they are now just archaic.
