Hey Kathy -

Thanks for the update on Ryan. I just went back and re-read my posting and can see that my wording made it sound like I thought he was over 40. I knew Ryan was younger that than. My definition if a "up and comer" would be someone under 20 that shows the kind of potential talent that Ryan showed when racing with Dennie when I moved out here in the 90s.

I consider Ryan part of the established order of front runners in the MRA, rather than a developing talent, and always expect to see him pushing past RoR winners. Glad to hear he's recovering from his injuries and hope to see him back up front in '06.

Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for the nice comments about Ryan. I did want to inform you that Ryan just turned 27. He is still far from 40.... He ended up finishing 1st in Open Supersport, 4th in Open Superbike and 5th in RORO (on a supersport bike). The bike finally came in at the end of the season and Ryan was finally comfortable after having shoulder surgery. We are hoping for a good year next year - but every year is a good year when there are no major injuries. We'll take the 1st, 4th and 5th.
